What you'll do

Spanish is the widest-spoken language in this set of Turing voice projects, and the task is simple to describe: show up to a scheduled session and talk. You join a group of other speakers at an exact date, time and time zone, discuss assigned topics naturally, ask and answer questions, react to others (brief overlaps and backchannels are welcome) and keep the conversation interactive. The goal is a multi-speaker diarization dataset, where the AI learns who is speaking when in realistic group talk, with emotion, personality and tone coming through.

The ad is firm that this is not a solo recording, a read-aloud or a formal speech. Joining and staying silent does not count as a contribution.

Who fits

  • Comfortable speaking Spanish in a group and contributing a fair share
  • Available for the full session in the assigned time zone
  • Able to follow topic guidance without reading a script
  • A proper recording setup (see below)

What it pays

The ad does not publish a rate and says only that this is a flexible agreement, not a full-time or part-time employment position. Turing sets rates per project; see Turing for how pay works in general.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • Conversation-based work, no reading, writing or tool training needed
  • Fully remote, with possible contract extension based on performance and project needs
  • Spanish has a large speaker pool, so sessions should be easier to fill (our expectation, not the ad's)

Less good:

  • No published pay rate
  • Sessions are fixed in time, so you cannot work whenever suits you
  • Strict audio requirements: an external microphone with wired headphones is preferred, a good wired headset is acceptable, and laptop speakers, Bluetooth earphones or open speakers are not. Use the same equipment you submit in your application audio sample, in a quiet room
  • Flexible agreement, not employment

How hiring works

Shortlisting is based on qualifications and relevant experience, followed by a delivery review before you start. The application includes an audio sample.
