What you'll do

AI models are now producing the kind of work a finance team ships every week: models in Excel, pitch and committee decks, memos. Mercor needs finance professionals to say whether that output would survive contact with a real desk.

For each artifact you:

• Assess whether it is usable in a genuine finance context
• Catch factual errors (wrong figures, broken formulas, flawed reasoning) along with aesthetic and presentation problems
• Write structured feedback on what is wrong and why

Anyone who has had a model or deck torn apart by a managing director already knows the standard being asked for here. The skill is spotting what a senior reviewer would reject, fast, and saying so clearly.

Who fits

Must have:

• 5+ years of professional finance experience at a top firm in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia or New Zealand
• Native or professional English
• Strong Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills, with PowerPoint, Excel and Word named

Preferred: a master's degree or higher. An MBA, MFin or similar helps but is not required.

The five-country condition applies to where you gained the experience. The ad sets no requirement on where you live now.

What it pays

$100–150 per hour as published by Mercor, paid weekly via Stripe or Wise. The ad gives no basis for placement within the range.
