Physics Expert

Rex.Zone: pay and who it accepts · Posted

What you'll do

You work from physics documents and papers: summarise them, pull out key data, and write problems and rubrics with reference solutions. You do the calculations and check analytical solutions, and you find and correct errors in AI-generated physical reasoning, including wrong units and arithmetic slips. You also give structured written feedback on model outputs and follow project guidelines, including calibration and review sessions.

This is the document-and-problem-writing physics listing on Rex.Zone. The Physicist listing is aimed at practising professionals who grade answers, and pays a higher band.

Who fits

  • An advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in physics or a related discipline
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in academia, a laboratory or industry
  • Broad command of classical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics and thermodynamics
  • Excellent written English and independent, deadline-driven working
  • Preferred: experience with AI, EdTech or educational content creation, publications or peer review, and simulation or data-analysis tools

What it pays

Rex.Zone states USD $50–80 per hour, adjusted by country of residence. That is lower than the Physicist listing's $70–125. The ad does not explain the country adjustment, so the top of the range may not apply everywhere, and it does not state pay frequency or method.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • Open worldwide with no country restriction listed
  • Master's holders with two years' experience qualify
  • Varied tasks across several areas of physics, from reading papers to checking calculations
  • Written rubrics and calibration sessions make expectations explicit

Less good:

  • The lower of the two physics bands, with a ceiling of $80
  • Country adjustment is not explained
  • Breadth is expected across all core areas, not one specialism
  • Payment depends on verification and on sanctions, export-control, tax and employment rules, and the contractor agreement covering ownership and licence terms was still marked "to be confirmed by Rex Legal"

About this listing

Posted on the Rex.Zone expert portal (also RemoExperts) on 1 October 2026 and read from the portal on 29 October 2026. The pay band, qualifications and responsibilities are Rex.Zone's own text. The portal lists no skills for this role, and the ad does not say how many hours a week to expect. Applications go through the portal, which sits behind an entry exam and verified-user checks described on the company page. See Rex.Zone.
