What you'll do
This is the annotation-and-evaluation version of micro1's dentist project. You label and annotate clinical dental data, and you judge the outputs of dental AI models for accuracy, clinical relevance and whether the workflow they describe is realistic.
You are also the source of digital dentistry knowledge: CAD/CAM workflows, digital imaging and treatment planning software. The ad lists reviewing and validating dental charting, imaging and case scenarios for machine learning tasks, working with a cross-functional project team to clarify dental practice and software usage, and delivering structured feedback that helps refine the AI applications. The customer is not named.
Who fits
All of these are listed as preferred, not mandatory:
- A licensed dentist (DDS, DMD or an internationally recognised equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with clinical dental software: practice management, digital imaging, CAD/CAM or treatment planning
- Prior human data work such as labelling, annotation, RLHF or evaluation
- A solid grasp of digital dentistry workflows
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- English at B2 level or above
- Comfort with remote, software-based work
No AI experience is required; the ad says domain knowledge is what matters. No country restriction is stated beyond "Remote".
What it pays
$80–285 per hour, micro1's published band. The top is more than three times the bottom and the ad does not say what decides placement, so plan around $80 until an offer says otherwise. No weekly hours, project length or payment schedule are stated.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Prior human data experience is preferred rather than required
- A high band for remote, contract clinical work
- Forty openings
- Your day-to-day software experience counts directly
Less good:
- A very wide band with no published basis
- Contractor engagement: no benefits, your own tax to manage
- No hours or duration stated
About this listing
Posted by micro1 on its own jobs portal and read on 19 October 2026. The $80–285/hour band, the 40 openings and the qualifications above are its published text.
micro1 posted a second dentist listing on the same day with the same band and openings, Dentist (DDS/DMD): Dental Technology. That one leans toward reviewing radiographs, intraoral scans and treatment plans, names specific software such as Dentrix and CEREC, and makes prior human data experience required; this one is broader and treats it as preferred. See micro1.
