Bulgarian Team Lead

What you'll do

Where the Bulgarian Language Expert role produces and reviews content, the team lead role manages the people who do. You spot-check items, give feedback by direct message, escalate recurring errors, and answer trainers' questions on Bulgarian wording, Cyrillic script, register, translation fidelity and cultural context.

The coordination load is real: briefing trainers on Discord when guidelines shift, messaging contributors who have gone inactive, running onboarding calls, and maintaining the style guides, FAQs, trackers and honeypot tasks that keep reviewers aligned. You also propose workflow fixes when the same quality gap keeps appearing.

Who fits

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Bulgarian, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, English or education
• Native or near-native Bulgarian and a firm grasp of English for team communication
• 3+ years of Bulgarian writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA or AI training work
• Solid command of aspect, definiteness, word order and Cyrillic conventions
• Preferred: experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers or reviewers
