Catalan Team Lead

What you'll do

The Catalan team lead supervises the people producing and reviewing Catalan training data. You spot-check items, give feedback by DM, escalate recurring errors and answer trainers on the details the ad lists: accentuation, the geminated l·l, apostrophation, weak pronouns, gender and number agreement, Spanish interference (castellanismes) and the differences between Central Catalan, Valencian and Balearic, applying the IEC or AVL standard as appropriate.

You also run the project's admin: Discord updates, nudging inactive contributors, onboarding calls, and the style guides, FAQs, trackers and honeypot tasks that keep reviewers consistent.

Who fits

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Catalan, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, English or education
• Native or near-native Catalan and good English for team communication
• Just 1+ years of Catalan writing, editing, translation, localization, QA or AI training work
• Preferred: experience supporting remote teams of trainers or reviewers; experience with LLM evaluation is a plus

The ad lists France and Spain as eligible countries. The board labels the role full time even though the text calls it an hourly remote contractor job. The selection process listed on the ad is an AI interview, a domain-specific task and an interview with a recruiter.
