Computer Science & IT Team Lead
What you'll do
You supervise quality on technical AI training work. You review AI answers and the trainers' own work in programming, debugging, networking, databases, security and system design, give written feedback, and flag anything misleading, insecure, outdated or built on invented commands and APIs. The coordination duties are the standard lead set: Discord updates, rubric questions, nudging inactive contributors, onboarding calls, style guides and calibration tasks.
One line in the responsibilities is out of place: "Native fluency in Punjabi". It is not repeated in the requirements, so it is unclear whether the project is run in Punjabi or the line is a stray. Ask before assuming either way.
Who fits
- A bachelor's or master's in computer science, IT, software engineering, cybersecurity or data science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in software development, IT support, systems administration, networking, security, technical writing or QA
- Fundamentals across algorithms, operating systems, databases, networking and APIs
- Good English for written technical feedback
- Experience leading remote reviewers is strongly preferred
India is the only listed country.
What it pays
Up to $20 an hour per the listing, with no floor. That is the lowest ceiling among the lead roles in this group, so check the rate against your local market before spending time on the interview. The listing does not publish payment method or cadence; SuperAnnotate's general terms are on the company page.
Worth knowing
Good:
- A lead seat in a technical field, remote
- A broad definition of relevant experience (support, sysadmin and QA all count)
Less good:
- The $20 ceiling is low for a role that requires three years plus people management
- The Punjabi line adds uncertainty about the working language
- Hourly work on SME projects is tracked with monitoring software, per the company page.
About this listing
