C# Engineer
What you'll do
You check the quality of AI answers about C# and the .NET ecosystem. That covers reviewing generated code and explanations, fact-checking technical claims, writing model solutions that show the method and not just the result, and rating several responses on correctness and reasoning. The ad names ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, async/await and LINQ as the home territory.
It is the most accessible of the three engineer roles in this batch on experience: the bar is 2+ years of professional C#, against 4+ for the C and C++ engineer ads.
Who fits
- A degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years using C#, with real .NET experience (ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, async/await, LINQ)
- Relational database knowledge (SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL; EF Core and/or Dapper)
- Git, CI/CD and Docker in your working habits
- English writing at C1 or above
- Strong advantage: medium to hard algorithm problem experience; preferred: earlier AI data training or technical QA
The role is open in 17 countries, including the United States, Germany, Brazil and several Asian markets.
What it pays
The board lists the range as 0 to 65 USD an hour. A zero floor reads as a missing lower bound, so treat $65 an hour as the ceiling rather than as a promised range. The ad does not state a payment method or schedule; SME's general terms are on the SuperAnnotate company page.
Worth knowing
Good:
- A lower experience bar than the C and C++ engineer roles
- A practical stack the market actually uses, so reviews draw on everyday work
- Open outside the US; the C# Team Lead role is US only
Less good:
- The ad says there is no immediate project for this role; qualified applicants are among the first contacted when a relevant project opens.
- The pay floor is unclear, and the ad does not say where a 2-year engineer would land
- Generic responsibilities text means the real task mix is only clear once a project starts
