Data Scientist

What you'll do

You check whether an AI does data science correctly. You review its analytical reasoning, code and model outputs, spot errors in methodology, modeling choices and statistical logic, fact-check quantitative claims, and write clear step-by-step reference solutions. You also rank multiple AI answers by correctness and reasoning quality.

Who fits

  • A bachelor's or higher in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics or a related quantitative field
  • 5+ years as a data scientist or in a close analytical role, with end-to-end machine learning work
  • Strong Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and advanced SQL
  • Background in statistics, experimental design and applied probability, including controlled experiments
  • C1 English for clear quantitative explanations; AI annotation experience is a plus

Eligible countries are Germany, India and the United States.

What it pays

Up to $100 an hour per the listing, with no stated floor. The listing does not publish payment method or cadence; SuperAnnotate's general terms are on the company page.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • Top-of-range ceiling for a role that uses your day-job skills directly
  • Explicit emphasis on reproducibility and careful reasoning
  • Remote hourly

Less good:

  • The ad opens with a notice that there is no immediate project for this role; qualified applicants are promised to be among the first contacted when work appears, so a successful application may mean waiting.
  • Only three countries are eligible
  • Hourly work on SME projects is tracked with monitoring software, per the company page.
