Greek Language Expert

What you'll do

You assess Greek content from AI models for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone and cultural fit, and write the corrected versions. The ad names register (formal versus informal), ambiguity, mistranslation and hallucinated claims as the problems to catch. You also write prompts and model answers for domains such as general knowledge, customer support, education and conversational writing, and detect unsafe or biased output.

Audience matters: the ad asks you to adapt between Greece, Cyprus and global users.

Who fits

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in linguistics, Greek or English literature, communications, journalism, translation or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Native or near-native Greek with strong reading and writing
  • C1 English at minimum
  • 3+ years in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism or education
  • Deep command of Greek grammar, spelling and style, able to explain why something is wrong
  • Prior AI data, translation QA or rubric-based evaluation is strongly preferred

What it pays

SME Careers lists up to $25 an hour, with no floor. The Greek Team Lead listing sits at up to $30. The ad does not say how payment is made or how often; the hiring process and payout terms SME publishes are covered on the SuperAnnotate page.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • Greek is a smaller market, so competition from other qualified applicants may be lower
  • Mixed work: creating answers as well as reviewing them
  • Equivalent professional experience can stand in for the degree

Less good:

  • Open to Greece only, even though the ad discusses Cyprus usage
  • Lower ceiling than the larger European languages in this batch
  • Hourly, time-tracked, with no project named

About this listing

Listed on SME Careers, the site where SuperAnnotate hires subject matter experts, and read from its jobs board on 27 October 2026. The board gives no posting date, so we cannot say how long it has been up. Pay, duties and requirements are SME's own text; the commentary is ours. See SuperAnnotate.
