Greek Team Lead

What you'll do

You lead quality for Greek-language projects. You spot-check items, message trainers and QAs with feedback, post guideline changes on Discord, answer questions on wording, grammar, register and translation fidelity, and run onboarding calls. You also keep the Greek style guide, FAQs and honeypots current.

The Greek-specific piece is audience variation: the ad asks the lead to handle Greece versus Cyprus usage and formal versus conversational tone.

Who fits

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Greek, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, English, education, QA or a related field
• Native or near-native Greek with strong reading and writing, and good English for feedback
• 3+ years in Greek writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training or annotation
• Rubric-based judgment on mistranslation, literal phrasing, hallucinated claims and register errors
• Strongly preferred: experience leading remote teams; LLM evaluation is a plus

What it pays

SME Careers lists up to $30 an hour, $5 above the Greek Language Expert listing, with no floor. The ad does not say how payment is made or how often; the hiring process and payout terms SME publishes are covered on the SuperAnnotate page.

Worth knowing

Good:

• Step up in pay and responsibility from the expert role, with the same 3+ years bar
• Documentation and process ownership, not just review
• Selection steps are stated: AI interview, domain task, recruiter interview

Less good:

• Open to Greece only
• Ceiling is modest for a lead role
• Coordination time sits alongside review, with no hours stated

About this listing

Listed on SME Careers, the site where SuperAnnotate hires subject matter experts, and read from its jobs board on 27 October 2026. The board gives no posting date, so we cannot say how long it has been up. Pay, duties and requirements are SME's own text; the commentary is ours. See SuperAnnotate.
