Hebrew Team Lead
What you'll do
This is a lead role rather than a first-pass reviewing job. You check Hebrew items that trainers and QAs have already handled, give written feedback through direct messages, and escalate problems that keep recurring. Hebrew brings its own questions: gendered phrasing, formal against informal register, UI terminology, and right-to-left formatting that breaks when text is mixed with English or numbers. You are the person contributors ask, so a good part of the week is answering them on Discord and keeping the Hebrew style guide, FAQ and honeypot examples current.
You also chase people who have gone quiet, run onboarding calls, and propose workflow fixes. The ad does not give weekly hours.
Who fits
- Native or near-native Hebrew, strong reading and writing
- A Bachelor's or Master's in Hebrew, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, English, education or QA, or a related field
- 3+ years in Hebrew writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education or annotation
- Strong English for guidelines and feedback
- Comfort with formal and informal Hebrew, gendered language and UI localization terminology
What it pays
The ad states up to $55 an hour, hourly, with no lower figure. The listing does not state payment terms; how SuperAnnotate pays (Deel contracts, weekly cycle) is on the company page.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Up to $55 an hour is one of the stronger ceilings for a language role in this batch
- Team lead scope: documentation and onboarding experience carry over to other QA or localization work
- AI training or LLM QA experience is a plus, not a requirement
Less good:
- Open to Israel-based applicants only
- Leadership experience is preferred, and the pay is a ceiling, not a promise
- Part of the job is chasing inactive contributors, which is people management rather than language work
About this listing
The ad describes a three-step selection: an AI interview, a domain task, and a recruiter interview. The ad says there is no immediate project: qualifying puts you on the list SME contacts first when work arrives, so a successful application may not mean paid work straight away. The board gives no posting date and we have not seen the project guidelines. The hiring process and time-tracking rules are on the company page and not repeated here. See SuperAnnotate.
