HTML/CSS Team Lead
What you'll do
The code under review is front-end markup and styling produced by AI models and by the trainers who check them. You test it against semantics, accessibility (ARIA basics, WCAG), layout behavior in flexbox and grid, responsive breakpoints, browser compatibility and how maintainable the CSS is. You also answer questions on cascade and specificity and flag components that look fine but are inaccessible or brittle.
As lead you keep the HTML/CSS style guide, FAQ and calibration examples, run onboarding calls and follow up with inactive contributors.
Who fits
- Degree in computer science, web development, UX/UI or IT, or equivalent front-end experience
- 3+ years in HTML/CSS, front-end work, accessibility, responsive design, code review or mentoring
- Solid grasp of semantic HTML, forms, ARIA basics, the box model, flexbox, grid and media queries
- Strong English for technical feedback
- Preferred: DevTools, Lighthouse, Sass, Tailwind, Bootstrap, Figma handoff
What it pays
The ad states up to $80 an hour, hourly. That is the highest ceiling in this batch apart from the iOS engineer role; the ad gives no lower figure. The listing does not state payment terms; how SuperAnnotate pays (Deel contracts, weekly cycle) is on the company page.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Up to $80 an hour for markup and styling expertise
- Accessibility review experience is directly relevant
- Remote and hourly
Less good:
- Open to US-based applicants only
- No immediate project, so a pool place first
- Leadership of remote reviewers, tracking and chasing contributors is part of the job
About this listing
The ad describes a three-step selection: an AI interview, a domain task, and a recruiter interview. The ad says there is no immediate project: qualifying puts you on the list SME contacts first when work arrives, so a successful application may not mean paid work straight away. The board gives no posting date and we have not seen the project guidelines. The hiring process and time-tracking rules are on the company page and not repeated here. See SuperAnnotate.
