Indonesian Language Expert

What you'll do

You review Indonesian output from AI models and write rewrites and model answers across general knowledge, customer support, education and conversational writing. The judgment calls the ad highlights are register (formal against informal), when slang is appropriate for the audience and platform, and spelling under the EYD/PUEBI conventions. You rank competing answers and flag hallucinations and policy-risk language.

Who fits

  • Native or near-native Indonesian, reading and writing
  • Degree in linguistics, Indonesian or English literature, communications, journalism or translation, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism or education
  • Minimum C1 English
  • Command of Indonesian spelling and punctuation rules

What it pays

The ad states up to $20 an hour, hourly. The Indonesian QA lead listing goes to $25. The listing does not state payment terms; how SuperAnnotate pays (Deel contracts, weekly cycle) is on the company page.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • Equivalent experience can replace the degree
  • Prior AI experience is preferred, not required
  • Remote and hourly

Less good:

  • Open to Indonesia-based applicants only
  • Up to $20 an hour is a ceiling
  • No immediate project

About this listing

The ad says there is no immediate project: qualifying puts you on the list SME contacts first when work arrives, so a successful application may not mean paid work straight away. The board gives no posting date and we have not seen the project guidelines. The hiring process and time-tracking rules are on the company page and not repeated here. See SuperAnnotate.
