iOS Engineer (Swift and Objective-C)
What you'll do
You assess AI answers on UIKit and SwiftUI, concurrency (GCD, OperationQueue, async/await), memory management with ARC, networking, persistence, and release practice. Beyond rating, you write reference implementations with explained reasoning. The ad lists security as a standing concern: Keychain storage, transport security, auth flows and privacy permissions.
Who fits
- 4+ years building production iOS apps in Swift, ideally with Objective-C
- Degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Expert Swift 5+, concurrency and ARC knowledge
- Experience with URLSession, Core Data or SQLite, XCTest and CI/CD
- Minimum C1 English, written and spoken
What it pays
The ad states up to $110 an hour, hourly, by far the highest ceiling in this batch. No lower figure is given. The listing does not state payment terms; how SuperAnnotate pays (Deel contracts, weekly cycle) is on the company page.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Up to $110 an hour
- Equivalent practical experience can replace the degree
- Open to Germany, India, Thailand, the US, Timor-Leste and Vietnam
Less good:
- Four years of production iOS experience is a real bar
- No immediate project
- Eligibility limited to six countries
About this listing
The ad says there is no immediate project: qualifying puts you on the list SME contacts first when work arrives, so a successful application may not mean paid work straight away. The board gives no posting date and we have not seen the project guidelines. The hiring process and time-tracking rules are on the company page and not repeated here. See SuperAnnotate.
