Lithuanian Language Expert

What you'll do

Lithuanian keeps archaic features, and the ad names them: cases, declension, conjugation and accentuation. You use that grammar knowledge to grade AI outputs for fluency, meaning, tone and cultural fit, and to write the prompts and gold-standard answers the models learn from.

Watch for the Russian- or English-influenced phrasing the ad lists, plus awkward literal translations and wrong case endings. Content spans general knowledge, customer support, education, conversation, translation, localisation and culturally sensitive topics.

Who fits

• Bachelor's degree or higher in linguistics, Lithuanian, literature, communications, journalism, translation or similar, or equivalent experience
• Native or near-native Lithuanian with strong reading and writing
• English at C1 or above
• 3+ years in writing, editing, localisation, translation, content QA, journalism or education
• Deep knowledge of Lithuanian grammar, diacritics, cases and accentuation
• Range across formal and conversational registers

Nice to have

• AI data training, translation QA, editorial QA or rubric-based evaluation (strongly preferred)

What it pays

The ad states up to $25 an hour, a ceiling. That is $5 above the Latvian expert listing and $10 under the Lithuanian Team Lead (up to $35). The listing does not publish payment terms; the process and payout details are on the company page.
