Technical Professionals: Evaluate Technical Presentation Decks

What you'll do

You review technical slide decks relevant to your field, such as design reviews, experiment readouts and model launches, and rank them on clarity, structure and overall effectiveness. You also write thoughtful feedback on why some presentations work and others do not. Terac says the study is meant to train models to understand how professionals structure and communicate complex technical information, which feeds into automated evaluation of design reviews, roadmaps and postmortems.

The work is asynchronous and remote, on a flexible schedule.

Who fits

• Experienced technical professionals who regularly create or review engineering presentations
• Software engineers, engineering managers, product managers and data scientists are named as welcome
• Strong familiarity with technical documents such as postmortems, roadmaps and architecture reviews

The ad names no degree, minimum years or country restriction, so it is open worldwide.

What it pays

Terac's listing states $110 per hour. The ad does not say how many hours of decks are available, how payment is sent, or how long the study runs beyond its closing date, so treat the hourly figure as the rate while work is available rather than a guaranteed volume.

Worth knowing

Good:

• $110/hour is high for flexible, asynchronous review work
• Fully remote with no fixed shifts
• Directly uses skills you already have from reading and writing design docs
• Open to people worldwide

Less good:

• Hours are not stated, so income depends on how much material Terac sends you
• Screening on Terac is likely, and the ad does not describe it
• Ranking decks is subjective; expect to justify your judgments in writing
• The listing closes on 23 December 2026
