AI Coding Response Review (Expert)

What you'll do

You read two final messages an AI coding agent wrote about the same piece of work (code changes, terminal commands, tests, debugging). You rate each against a fixed rubric covering clarity, length and density, structure, formatting, language complexity and tone, pick the stronger one and write a short, specific rationale. You then write editing prompts for an AI model, refine the result and make small final edits yourself, and submit the ratings, rationale, prompts and revised response.

The focus is communication quality. The ad says reviewers do not grade code correctness or fact-check claims independently, so this is closer to technical editing than to code review. The work is remote, on an independent contractor basis.

Who fits

  • At least four years of software engineering experience, enough to follow code changes, terminal output, tests and debugging steps
  • Familiarity with AI coding assistants, and the habit of separating actions that were completed from actions that were only proposed, and verified results from assumptions
  • Excellent written English and strong editing judgment
  • Consistent, rubric-based evaluation and clear, actionable prompt writing
  • Reliable availability and turnaround

If you often rewrite other people's pull request descriptions or status updates for clarity, this is the same instinct applied to AI output.

What it pays

Invisible's listing states a single rate of $25.00/hour for the Trainer role, paid to independent contractors. The listing also says the expert rate follows the applicable campaign rate configuration and that specific rates and details are confirmed before participation, so check the figure when you are onboarded. Per its contract terms, payment is issued weekly via Stripe or Wise. The listing states that H-1B and STEM OPT contractors cannot be supported at this time.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • A clear hourly rate rather than per-unit pay
  • Two qualification routes, Python-specific or any supported language, so you do not need to be a Python specialist
  • No code-correctness grading, so the work does not depend on debugging unfamiliar repositories

Less good:

  • Qualification is a 25-minute assessment (a short coding-experience video introduction, three multiple-choice questions and one hands-on coding exercise), and it is unpaid
  • The listing does not say how many hours of work are available or how long the project runs
  • Rubric work rewards consistency, so expect your ratings to be compared with other reviewers'
  • H-1B and STEM OPT holders are excluded

The onboarding flow asks you to upload a resume (about 5 minutes) and then complete the qualification (about 30 minutes) before paid projects unlock.

About this listing

We read this listing on the Meridial marketplace in late October 2026; it showed as posted about 15 hours earlier. We did not verify task volume or project length, which the listing does not give. Invisible runs contractor work through Meridial; the company page covers how that works.
