What you'll do

AI output in Dutch often fails in ways that are easy to miss. Dutch readers are used to English tech terms, so a model that mixes in deployen or de API callen may be perfectly natural, or it may read like a sloppy translation; and whether a support bot says u or je is a brand decision Dutch companies take seriously. The listing asks specifically for Dutch as used in the Netherlands, not Flemish, and wants people who can make those calls by ear.

The other half of the work is technical. You review AI-generated coding and technical customer service outputs (virtual agent responses, JSON structures, audio-related content and other technical materials) for accuracy, clarity and whether they follow the project guidelines, and write feedback on what to fix. The listing mentions pronunciation and audio content, which points to some listening work, but does not say how much.

Who fits

  • Native-level Dutch with strong familiarity with pronunciation, phrasing, tone and conventions in the Netherlands
  • You can live anywhere; the listing says residence in the Netherlands is not needed
  • Strong JSON: reading, validating and troubleshooting, and finding structural or formatting problems
  • Coding knowledge sufficient to spot basic logic, syntax and functionality errors
  • Comfortable with detailed guidelines and written feedback

Belgian Dutch speakers can apply, but the listing's standard is Netherlands usage, so be honest with yourself about which conventions you default to. No programming language, degree or experience minimum is named.

What it pays

$21.00 an hour. All the language versions of this role we read pay the same. Worth noting for Dutch speakers: Invisible's Dutch and Scandinavian speech projects pay $1.30 per unit rather than hourly, according to our company page, so this is the more predictable way to earn from Dutch on the platform.

Stated terms: weekly payment via Stripe or Wise, independent contractor basis, self-scheduled, no minimum work guaranteed, and no H-1B or STEM OPT contractors.

Getting in

A résumé upload (around 5 minutes) and an "unlock paid projects" step (around 30 minutes, unpaid). The listing warns that LLMs, automation or scripting tools used on your entry may disqualify you.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • Hourly pay rather than per unit, unlike Invisible's Dutch speech work
  • A small language market, so fewer competing applicants than for German or Spanish
  • No residence requirement and fully flexible hours

Less good:

  • $21 is low for native Dutch plus technical skills, given Dutch developer salaries
  • Volume, hours and project length are not published
  • The qualification is unpaid and does not guarantee work
  • Posted about three months before we read it
