Electrical Engineering Expert

What you'll do

You write electrical engineering problems with complete reference answers, build grading rubrics, and compare AI-generated calculations, designs and specifications, explaining which is better and why. Where a model reasons incorrectly you record the error and propose an improved response.

The ad names circuit analysis, power systems, signal processing, control systems and RF as example areas, and asks for checks against relevant standards and codes. This is the general electrical evaluation role; Rex.Zone also lists a more tool-driven Circuit Design Expert role for people who work in netlists and simulators, and a PCB Tool Specialist role for layout work. Calibration and review sessions keep graders consistent, and the work is remote.

Who fits

• A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, plus either a Master's or PhD or 4+ years of professional experience
• Solid design or analysis experience and the ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Working knowledge of simulation tools such as SPICE or MATLAB
• Excellent written English
• Preferred: a PE licence, industry design experience in power, embedded or RF systems, and rubric or training-material writing

What it pays

Rex.Zone's listing states USD $70–120 per hour, "adjusted by country of residence". The ad does not say how the adjustment works, so the top of the range may not apply where you live. The listing gives no payment method or payout schedule; the Rex.Zone company page covers what is known. It shares its floor with the Civil Engineering Expert role and tops it by $5.

Worth knowing

Good:

• Five sub-fields are named, so power, control or RF specialists can all fit
• A stated range up to $120 an hour
• No location restriction in the ad

Less good:

• The experience bar (degree plus Master's, PhD or 4+ years) is real, and credentials may be verified
• Pay is adjusted by country of residence, method unpublished
• Confidential or employer-owned designs cannot be submitted
• Weekly hours and task volume are not stated
