Chemistry Quality Assurance Lead (QAL)

What you'll do

You supervise the chemistry review pipeline. Your own checks cover AI explanations, calculations, reaction mechanisms, nomenclature and lab reasoning, looking for scientific accuracy, correct units and sound reaction logic. You then spread what you learn: briefing trainers and QAs on Discord, answering questions about reactions, units and safety, running onboarding calls and maintaining the style guides, FAQs, trackers and calibration tasks.

Safety is a named duty. You flag unsafe, misleading or overconfident recommendations touching chemical handling, hazardous substances, dosing or environmental impact.

Who fits

• A Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in chemistry, chemical sciences, biochemistry, materials or pharmaceutical chemistry
• 3+ years in chemistry research, lab work, teaching, scientific writing, quality control, formulation or analytical chemistry
• Grounding in organic, inorganic, physical and analytical chemistry, spectroscopy, kinetics and equilibrium
• Preferred: experience leading or supporting remote teams of reviewers
