Swedish Team Lead

What you'll do

As Swedish quality lead you review trainer and QA output against project guidelines, give written feedback, and answer questions on Swedish wording, compounds, register and translation fidelity. You keep style guides, FAQs, trackers and honeypots up to date, run onboarding and training calls and follow up with contributors who are not working. The ad names incorrect compounds and unnatural phrasing among the issues you will look for.

Who fits

• Native or near-native Swedish and strong English
• 3+ years in Swedish writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA or annotation
• A Bachelor's or Master's in Swedish, linguistics, translation, education or related
• Comfort with formal, neutral and conversational Swedish and UI localization terminology
• Preferred: remote team leadership and Discord and spreadsheet fluency

What it pays

The ad lists up to $60 an hour and no minimum, $5 above the Swedish Language Expert listing and the top language-lead figure in this batch. Payment method and timing are not set out in the listing; the SuperAnnotate company page covers the contracting setup.

Worth knowing

Good:

• Highest language-lead ceiling in the batch
• Documentation and onboarding experience
• Remote

Less good:

• The ad lists three selection steps: an AI interview, a domain-specific task and an interview with a recruiter.
• Only Sweden is listed (the expert role also allows Finland)
• Coordination duties on top of review
