Transportation and Warehousing Expert

What you'll do

You apply logistics knowledge to AI training. The ad lists feedback on transportation and warehousing scenarios, reviewing and validating real-world documents on cargo management, dispatch and freight movement, and writing clear explanations of processes such as inventory management, distribution planning and cargo routing.

You also evaluate model outputs for accuracy against logistics best practice, write case studies and test questions that probe AI reasoning, and identify gaps in what the system knows, including against industry standards and regulations. It is remote contractor work for a client the ad does not name.

What you need

  • At least 5 years as a logistician, supply chain manager, transportation or distribution manager, cargo and freight agent or dispatcher
  • Knowledge of warehousing, transportation and logistics operations and regulations
  • The ability to explain complex supply chain concepts in writing and speech
  • A detail-oriented approach to operational data, workflows and process documentation
  • Proficiency with industry logistics software, management systems and tracking tools

Nice to have

  • Experience with diverse cargo, distribution models or multimodal transport networks
  • Collaborative habits for remote feedback exchange

What it pays

micro1 states $30–70/hour. This ad, unlike its newer sibling expert listings, gives no time-per-task figure and does not say whether pay is hourly or per task, so how the band is applied is unknown.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • No prior AI experience is needed; the ad says domain knowledge is what matters
  • Fully remote, with thirty openings
  • Covers a field that AI-training platforms rarely hire for

Less good:

  • A wide band ($30 to $70) with no published basis for placement
  • The ad names no languages, countries, weekly hours or project length
  • Contractor engagement: no benefits, and you handle your own tax
