Cultural Studies Quality Assurance Lead (QAL)

What you'll do

You lead quality on humanities content: art history, visual culture and cultural studies. You review AI explanations, visual analyses, museum-style descriptions and cultural comparisons for misattribution, wrong periodization, weak visual analysis and unsupported interpretation, and you supervise the trainers who do the same. The ad adds an ethics duty: flagging Eurocentric, decontextualized or stereotyping claims about art, artists and communities.

The lead work is the standard set: Discord updates, rubric questions, chasing inactive contributors, onboarding calls, calibration tasks and documentation.

Who fits

• A bachelor's, master's or PhD in art history, cultural studies, visual culture, museum studies, humanities, fine arts, comparative literature, media studies, anthropology or history
• 3+ years in art historical research, curatorial work, teaching, academic writing or cultural criticism
• Command of art historical methods, iconography, periodization and museum ethics
• Breadth across ancient to contemporary and non-Western art histories is preferred
• Leading remote teams is strongly preferred
