Customer Service (Call Center) Expert (Canada)
What you'll do
You take part in realistic customer service calls that are recorded as a dataset for speech-to-speech AI agents. The listing describes human-enacted conversations built around project scenarios: you play the service role with professional communication, active listening, empathy and sound issue-resolution technique, so the AI learns what a good call sounds like. The responsibilities also mention ranking AI responses and testing models for inaccuracies and bias, so some evaluation work is likely alongside the voice work.
This is the Canada-only twin of the broader listing: same scenarios, same pay, narrower eligibility, so Canadian applicants are not competing with US ones for this seat.
Who fits
- A degree in business administration, communications, marketing or management, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of professional call-center customer service, covering complaints, escalations and follow-up
- 1+ year of AI training experience, such as annotation, model evaluation or response evaluation
- Excellent spoken English at C1 or above
- Ability to change tone and approach to the customer's situation
This version is limited to applicants in Canada. The Canada and US version has identical text and pay. Like that one, the ad says "US only" beside the spoken English requirement, so confirm what accent or market it means for Canadian applicants.
What it pays
Up to $30 an hour per the listing; no floor is stated. The listing does not publish payment method or cadence; SuperAnnotate's general terms are on the company page.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Voice work that rewards real support experience over technical credentials
- Remote hourly
Less good:
- The AI training requirement rules out pure call-center backgrounds
- Hourly work on SME projects is tracked with monitoring software, per the company page. The ad does not say how that applies to recorded calls.
