Labeling Jobs

Eclipse Specialist

What you'll do

You write and perform tasks in the Eclipse IDE. The ad lists the territory: creating Java projects, configuring JDKs, running and debugging code, importing projects, managing dependencies through Maven or Gradle, using plugins, writing tests, navigating code, Git integration and troubleshooting build or runtime issues. Each task is documented in SuperAnnotate with its goals, steps, project files and dependencies, and you record yourself carrying it out.

Preparation counts as part of the job. Eclipse, the workspace, the JDK and any dependencies have to be ready before you start recording, and you review the recording before you submit. The purpose is teaching models how real developers move through an IDE, which is different from how they write code in a chat window.

Who fits

The requirements section of this ad is empty, so there is no stated degree, years of experience or English level. What the responsibilities imply is working fluency in Eclipse and Java development: setting up a workspace, debugging, build paths and Git. Reading and writing task documentation in English is clearly needed. Open to applicants in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan.

What it pays

Up to $20 an hour per the ad, with no floor. The ad does not describe payment terms; SuperAnnotate's company page covers the Deel contract, paid bootcamp and monitoring software that apply across its hourly projects.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • No formal qualification listed
  • Practical, tool-specific work rather than abstract evaluation
  • Remote and hourly

Less good:

  • The ad does not state requirements, so what screening checks for is unclear
  • Screen recordings of your own machine are part of the submission
  • Eclipse is a narrower niche than general Java work, so task supply may be limited
  • No hours, project length or start date published
