Finance & Accounting Specialist: Rubric Design
What you'll do
Rubric writing is the centre of this role. You build realistic finance and accounting tasks that need judgement rather than recall, such as valuation, financial modelling, corporate finance, audit and risk problems, and then translate professional standards into scoring criteria: accuracy, methodology, assumptions, completeness, materiality, calculations and quality of reasoning. You also evaluate AI-generated financial work against those criteria, and critique rubrics other experts have written for ambiguity, missing components, duplication or technical error.
The ad ties the output to model training: tasks, rubrics, evaluations, preference pairs and reference answers suitable for RL and supervised fine-tuning. Distinguishing a calculation error from a methodological error from a reasonable professional difference is the key judgement.
Who fits
- A bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, business or applied mathematics
- 3+ years in finance, accounting, investment analysis, corporate finance, reporting, audit, consulting or risk
- English at C1 or above
- Strong ability to write detailed rubrics and critique others' work
CPA, CFA, ACCA, ACA, CMA or FRM are strongly preferred. Experience in exam writing, audit review, investment committee review or professional assessment is also strongly preferred, and AI evaluation or RLHF experience is preferred. Applicants must be in the US.
What it pays
The ad states pay of up to $100 an hour. It gives no floor and does not say what decides where in that range an individual lands. The ad does not describe payment terms; SuperAnnotate's company page covers the Deel contract, paid bootcamp and monitoring software that apply across its hourly projects.
Worth knowing
Good:
- High ceiling and a creative, expert-level task rather than repetitive review
- Directly uses certification and professional judgement
- Remote and hourly
Less good:
- US only
- Rubric design is exacting work, and the ad includes critiquing peers' rubrics
- No hours, project length or start date published
