IntelliJ IDEA Specialist
What you'll do
You create the tasks yourself: set up a Java or Kotlin project, configure an SDK, debug a failing run, refactor, fix a Maven or Gradle build, write tests or use the Git integration. You write up the goal and steps in SuperAnnotate, prepare the project files and dependencies, and record the whole thing on your computer. The recordings and notes help train models on how developers actually use an IDE, not only on the code they write.
Who fits
- Hands-on IntelliJ IDEA experience (Java or Kotlin, debugging, refactoring, build tools, Git)
- English at B2 or higher
- Comfort configuring SDKs, installing dependencies and recording your screen
- Ability to propose realistic coding, debugging and build tasks
- Attention to detail
What it pays
The ad states up to $25 an hour, hourly, which is $5 above the Inkscape specialist listing in the same family. The listing does not state payment terms; how SuperAnnotate pays (Deel contracts, weekly cycle) is on the company page.
Worth knowing
Good:
- No degree or years threshold is listed
- Practical IDE work, not abstract questions
- Uses a setup you already own
Less good:
- Open to applicants in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan only
- You carry the setup work (SDK, dependencies, project files) before each recording
- Up to $25 an hour is a ceiling
About this listing
The ad does not mention a standing project or start date, so check what is open when you apply. The board gives no posting date and we have not seen the project guidelines. The hiring process and time-tracking rules are on the company page and not repeated here. See SuperAnnotate.
