Italian Language Expert
What you'll do
You read Italian output from AI models and judge accuracy, meaning drift and style, then write model revisions and explain corrections. The ad highlights Italian grammar points such as clitics, tense, aspect and mood, plus pragmatics and discourse-level editing across registers. You compare multiple responses and apply a style guide for specific audiences and locales.
Who fits
- Native or near-native Italian (C2 preferred)
- Minimum C1 English
- Degree in linguistics, Italian, translation or localization, communications or related
- Command of Italian grammar, semantics and pragmatics
- Prior AI training or editorial QA experience strongly preferred
What it pays
The ad states up to $37 an hour, hourly. The Italian QA lead listing goes up to $45. The listing does not state payment terms; how SuperAnnotate pays (Deel contracts, weekly cycle) is on the company page.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Real linguistic depth rather than generic review
- Remote and hourly
- Multilingual ability beyond Italian and English is a plus
Less good:
- Open to Italy-based applicants only (the ad says so explicitly)
- No immediate project
- Up to $37 an hour is a ceiling
About this listing
The ad says there is no immediate project: qualifying puts you on the list SME contacts first when work arrives, so a successful application may not mean paid work straight away. The board gives no posting date and we have not seen the project guidelines. The hiring process and time-tracking rules are on the company page and not repeated here. See SuperAnnotate.
