Jupyter Notebook Specialist
What you'll do
The output here is a screen recording, not a text answer. You think up a realistic notebook task (cleaning a CSV, an exploratory analysis, a chart, a small machine learning workflow, a debugging session), write it up in SuperAnnotate, set up Jupyter with the data and packages ready, then record yourself carrying it out on your computer.
The point is computer-use data: models learn the steps real users take in Jupyter or JupyterLab, including markdown cells, imports and exports. Your task has to be challenging enough to be useful and realistic enough to be believable, and the write-up has to give reviewers enough context to follow the recording.
Who fits
- Hands-on experience with Jupyter Notebook or JupyterLab for Python, analysis, visualisation, teaching or documentation
- English at B2 or higher to follow instructions and document tasks
- A computer you can install packages on and record from
- Working knowledge of code and markdown cells, kernels, execution order, imports, file paths, pandas, charts and exports
- Self-directed reliability in an hourly, remote workflow
Nice to have
- Python, data analysis, machine learning, statistics, research or teaching background
What it pays
The ad states up to $20 an hour; the figure is a ceiling. It is the same ceiling SME shows on its other record-yourself specialist listings in this group (KiCad and Krita), all three open only to Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. The listing does not publish payment terms; the process and payout details are on the company page.
Worth knowing
Good:
- No degree or years of experience are asked for; tool skill and imagination are the bar
- Fits people who already live in notebooks for work or teaching
- Task design lets you choose workflows you know well
Less good:
- Up to $20 is the lowest band for a technical role in this batch
- Open only to Bangladesh, India and Pakistan
- Recording yourself means the quality of your setup is part of the job
- Hourly work is tracked by monitoring software, and the ad does not say how many hours are available
