Medical Doctor (Specialist)
What you'll do
You review AI clinical answers the way a specialist reviews a colleague's reasoning: differential diagnosis, triage, red flags, escalation pathways, dosing and contraindications, and whether advice fits the setting (ED, inpatient or outpatient). You write expert medical content and compare competing responses. The ad welcomes specialists across fields including internal medicine, emergency medicine, pediatrics, cardiology, neurology, psychiatry, surgery, radiology and oncology. The work is remote and hourly.
Who fits
- An MD/DO or equivalent with completed specialty training and board eligibility or certification (or the local equivalent)
- 5+ years of post-training clinical experience in a specialty setting
- Advanced clinical reasoning and a strong grasp of guideline-based care and patient safety
- English at C1 or above
AI data training, guideline work, utilization review or clinical documentation review is strongly preferred.
What it pays
The ad says up to $150 an hour, the highest ceiling in this batch. It is a maximum and the ad does not give a typical rate. For comparison, the Medical General Expert role in the same set pays up to $90. Payment terms and the hiring process are covered on the company page.
Worth knowing
Good:
- The highest ceiling in the batch
- The ad welcomes a very wide range of specialties
- Remote and hourly
Less good:
- The ad says there is no immediate project for this role; qualified applicants are put first in line when a matching project opens, so applying may not lead to work right away
- Specialty training and board status are a hard filter
- Hours are not published
