MongoDB Specialist

What you'll do

This is a task-creation job rather than a review job. You invent realistic MongoDB tasks, such as creating collections, querying and updating documents, using indexes, importing JSON or CSV, or troubleshooting, then document each task in SuperAnnotate and record yourself carrying it out. You prepare the environment first: MongoDB or Compass installed, test data loaded, credentials handled safely. Reviewers use the recording and notes to understand what you did. It is hourly and remote.

Who fits

• Hands-on MongoDB experience: queries, updates, indexes, import/export or Compass
• English at B2 or above
• Comfort with database tools, local or cloud environments and screen recording
• Ability to design tasks that mirror real backend, analytics or admin use cases

Backend, data engineering, JavaScript, Python, DBA, QA or DevOps skills are appreciated. No degree or years of experience are stated, so we read this as entry level.

What it pays

The ad says up to $20 an hour. That is a ceiling and no typical rate is stated. It is the same figure as the NetBeans Specialist role in the same batch. Payment terms and the hiring process are covered on the company page.

Worth knowing

Good:

• No degree or years of experience required in the ad
• Only B2 English is asked for
• Practical, hands-on work

Less good:

• Open only to applicants in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan
• The ceiling is low for developer-level skills
• You supply your own computer setup and recording; hours are not published
