Portuguese Quality Assurance Lead (QAL)

What you'll do

You oversee the quality of Portuguese AI training work rather than producing most of it yourself. That means spot-checking items from trainers and QAs, sending feedback by direct message, answering questions about grammar, tone and regional usage, and escalating issues that keep recurring. You also keep the paperwork alive: Portuguese style guides, FAQs, trackers, honeypots and onboarding material, plus calls that bring new contributors up to speed. Part of the job is nudging inactive contributors back into the project.

Who fits

• Native or near-native Portuguese with strong reading and writing, plus enough English to follow guidelines and give feedback in it
• 3+ years in Portuguese writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education or annotation
• A bachelor's or master's in a field such as Portuguese, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, education or QA
• Comfort with Discord, Google Sheets and Docs, trackers and dashboards
• Remote team leadership is strongly preferred; AI training or rubric-based LLM QA is a strong plus
