Croatian Team Lead

What you'll do

You are accountable for Croatian-language quality across a team. You spot-check items, answer questions on case endings, diacritics, register and regional terminology, post guideline changes on Discord, message contributors who have stopped working, and run onboarding calls. You also maintain the project documentation: style guides, trackers, FAQs, examples and honeypot checks.

A specific skill the ad wants: telling Croatian usage apart from Serbian, Bosnian and Montenegrin vocabulary, spelling and terminology. As a lead you set that line for the whole team, not just for your own work.

Who fits

• A bachelor's or master's in Croatian, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, English or education
• Native or near-native Croatian and English good enough to give clear feedback
• 3+ years of Croatian writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA or annotation
• Comfort with Discord, Sheets, Docs and trackers
• Leading remote reviewers is strongly preferred
