Python Expert
What you'll do
You evaluate AI-written Python answers and the Chinese explanations that go with them, checking correctness, edge cases, complexity and idiomatic Python 3. You also write and QA Mandarin prompts, constraints and acceptance criteria for coding and debugging scenarios, and label common error patterns (exceptions, off-by-one mistakes, mutation and aliasing, encoding problems) with bilingual Chinese and English tags. Review summaries are written in English.
Who fits
- Fluent Mandarin Chinese; Traditional Chinese is preferred for Hong Kong
- English at C1 or higher
- Working Python 3.x knowledge: data structures, functions, modules, exceptions, debugging
- A bachelor's in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Roughly 1 to 5 years of Python development, code review or debugging (the ad gives 1 to 5 in one place and 2 to 5 in another)
- AI data training or annotation experience is strongly preferred
Applicants are accepted from Canada, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States. The listing is tagged full time on the board, but its text calls the role an hourly, remote contract with flexible hours. The pay line inside the ad text reads "up to 40" with a Hong Kong country target, while the board lists up to $50; the figure used here is the board's.
What it pays
The listing states up to $50 an hour, with no minimum given. It is an hourly contract, so you are paid for tracked active time. SuperAnnotate's company page covers payout through Deel and the time-tracking rules; this listing states no payment terms of its own.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Bilingual Python work is a narrow niche with fewer competing applicants
- Paid onboarding with rubric calibration is described in the ad
- Flexible hours
Less good:
- The ad contradicts itself on pay ($40 in the text, $50 on the board) and experience (1 to 5 versus 2 to 5 years)
- Employment type is labelled full time while the text describes hourly contract work
- Consistent weekly availability is preferred, per the ad
