Visual Studio Code (VS Code) Specialist

What you'll do

You come up with realistic, challenging tasks that can be done in Visual Studio Code, document them in SuperAnnotate, and record yourself carrying them out. The ad lists editing code, managing files, extensions, debugging, formatting, running scripts, the terminal, Git integration, settings and notebooks.

Each submission includes task context, steps, goals and project files so reviewers can follow what was done. You are also responsible for preparing the setup before recording: VS Code, extensions, dependencies and references.

What you need

• Hands-on VS Code use for coding, debugging, extensions, terminal workflows or Git
• English at B2 or above
• Comfort managing files, installing extensions and recording your screen
• Solid grasp of Explorer, search, debugging, settings, formatting and source control
• The ability to invent realistic, challenging tasks
• A prepared environment before recording
• Attention to detail when checking that a recording is complete

Nice to have

• Coding, QA, technical writing, GitHub, web development, data analysis or operations skills

What it pays

SME Careers lists this role at up to $20 an hour. That is a ceiling, not a rate: the ad does not say what a typical contractor earns, or how hours are allocated.
